Your Best Hospice Choice:
Hospice of Holland

Best hospice for you and your family? Hospice of Holland is not a place, but rather, a special way of caring for patients and family members facing the end-of-life of a loved one. It is an anxious time, a time of unknown, often accompanied by confusion, fear, and pain, both physical and mental.  Yet hospice isn’t about letting go, or walking away. It’s about living, and loving. And making every day count.

Perhaps there is no other time in your life, or the life of a loved one, when experience is more beneficial. Hospice of Holland is the most experienced hospice provider in West Michigan. Our level of care is nationally recognized as among the highest; our team is comprehensive and patient-focused; and our continued growth is an indication of our growing number of recommendations and referrals from family members and healthcare providers.

  • Last year, volunteers contributed nearly 3,000 hours of their time and their talent to help unsure Hospice of Holland patients and their family members received high-quality end of life care.

  • Hospice of Holland was blessed with many financial gifts in 2021 which helped aid in the support of our work during the on-going challenges of the pandemic and our delivery of care throughout the year.
  • In 2021, we provided bereavement support to 676 people. Of those, 97 were “community bereaved” (not affiliated with us due to having a loved one on service) and 22 were children or teens. • Each year, our social workers invest more than 2,600 hours helping patients come to terms with their mortality, offering support during challenging days and nights and assisting the entire patient and family unit as they travel through their hospice experience.
