Reaching Out...What can I do?

Volunteering at Hospice of Holland means reaching out to fellow members of the community. There is a spot at Hospice of Holland for anyone willing to donate time or service to ensure that the final journey for those with advanced illness is valued and traveled with dignity.

Volunteers are given sound, basic orientation in the Hospice program. Training is offered every Spring and Fall. The Hospice Orientation Program (HOP) provides training for life - as well as hospice care.

Volunteers are needed to work directly with patients and families providing companionship and respite care. Volunteers also provide bereavement support and office work both at the Hospice House and at the Hoover Office. If you would like to make a difference in the lives of those facing end-of-life issues, become a Hospice of Holland Volunteer! Please Contact Us for more information.

The dates for our next HOP class are:  Monday & Wednesday mornings, 9:00am-12:00pm, beginning September 29 and ending October 22, 2008.
