Hospice of Holland’s Roaring 20’s Celebration Gala is returning on Thursday May 16, 2019 at 6:30pm. With the popularity of last year’s theme, we are again transforming Baker Lofts into a swanky 1920’s speakeasy. The event is a night of glamour and giving back with an elegant dinner from some of the area’s best restaurants, live jazz, cocktails, games, silent and vocal auctions, and camaraderie. Guests will have the opportunity to hear live testimonials from those whose lives have been touched by our services. 1. Where is the event?
The Gala will be held at Baker Lofts located at 217 E 24th Street in Holland, MI. Complimentary valet parking will be available for all guests on the night of the event.
2. How much are tickets?
The entry fee for this event is $125 per person. Dinner and drinks are included in the price of the ticket. For those who would like to fill a table, we offer a group rate of $800 for 8 tickets. 3. What should I wear?
1920’s vintage attire or accessories is encouraged, but certainly not required! Need some inspiration? Stop by the Kostume Room at 835 36th Street in Wyoming, MI for some simple accessories. Be sure mention Hospice of Holland.
4. How do I participate in the auctions?
All registered guests can participate in the auctions. Our silent auction is set up as a Chinese-style auction. Each guest receives a bid number, and each auction item is listed at a specific bid price. Guests may place their bid number on a bid sheet up to 10 times, however each time a bid is place, the guest must pay the set bid price, whether or not they win the item. The more bids that are placed, the higher the chances of winning! The evening also includes a traditional live auction, and maybe even a few surprises! Please note all guest will be mailed an invoice after the event.
5. How does this event help Hospice of Holland?
This is one of Hospice of Holland’s most popular events. ALL Gala proceeds go to making 24-hour direct patient care and support possible for each and every one of our patients and their loved ones.
