Fr. Phil Nguyen

Father Phil became an ordained priest in 1987 in the Diocese of Grand Rapids. From 1993-2001, he was an U.S. Air Force Chaplain and is currently the pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He has a BS in mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Canada; a Bachelor of Sacred Theology and a M. Div. both from the University of Toronto.

Since moving to West Michigan, Fr. Phil has been involved on the Greater Ottawa County United Way board and served on a sub-committee for West Ottawa Public Schools. He is the founder of the annual Lakeshore Blessing of the Bikes which benefits Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity and West Michigan Child and Family Services.

During his free time he enjoys motor cycling, scuba diving, and flying (he is a rated pilot).
