Hospice House Come to a place where life is celebrated. Located on 17 acres of farmland at 445 104th Avenue in Holland, this breathtaking new facility is in the heart of our service area as we care for families in Ottawa and Allegan counties, Grandville, Jenison and South Haven. This 23,321 square foot facility will be built for the next 15-20 years and is designed for future expansion should the need arise. The Hospice House features twelve comfortable private bedrooms arranged in pods of 3 with common spaces for TV/sitting, dining table and kitchenette. There are also six private suites. All rooms include space for a loved one to sleep overnight. Families enjoy gathering and dining areas, quiet meditation spaces, a wonderful resource library, chapel, Children's Play Area, Patient Spa & Beauty Nook, and outdoor space including gardens, patios, ponds and walking paths. In addition, patients and families have the assurance of professional staff nearby, twenty-four hours a day. There is a daily room and board charge comparable to that of other area residential accommodations. Financial assistance is available to families unable to pay the full charge through our Tulip Tree Endowment Fund. As in hospice care in the home, assisted living facility, or nursing home, the services of licensed nurses, certified aides, trained counselors, spiritual advisors and volunteer support staff along with medications and equipment related to the terminal diagnosis are covered by Medicare, Medicaid or most private insurances. Seeing this vision become a reality instills a sense of pride, dedication and level of commitment for our staff. The Hospice House staff is thrilled to have the opportunity to work in the best conditions possible to care for those with advanced illness.
