Pain and Symptom Management. For licensed nurses who want to expand their information about pain and symptom management for the terminally ill. Offers 1.0 contact hour for nurses*.

Professional Self Care. This presentation discusses the causes and effects of Compassion Fatigue, examines participants' ability to deal with the stress of being a professional caregiver, and explores both general and specific strategies for self-care.

Providing Care and Comfort. Certified nursing assistants and home health aides learn how the dying process affects the body, and explore ways to provide comfort and relief.
